Prevents Accumulation of Pentane Vapor

1. Because pentane vapor is heavier than air, it can accumulate in depressions, restricted 

areas (trailers, boxes, waterways, puddles, stairwells) or enclosed spaces (for example, bulk 

raw material storage bins) without constant ventilation. Take active ventilation measures 

in these areas and similar areas.

2. After molding or cutting, a pentane ring may appear immediately around the molded 

foam product. After that, the pentane ring will gradually disappear, and it will no longer 

be obvious after 7 days of storage at room temperature. When the pentane concentration 

in a molded foam product decreases during inspection, storage, transportation, and use 

(10 to 14 days after normal molding), the pentane vapor does not pose a fire hazard. 

Shaped foam products should be placed in a well-ventilated area for aging and storage
