EPS foam is a thermoplastic material. After heating and foaming, it contains 3-6 million independent closed bubbles per cubic meter of volume, and the volume of air contained is above 98%. This structure gives it many characteristics. Since the density can be as low as 10-30kg / m3, EPS is currently the lightest packaging material. Under high load conditions, this material will be bent. When shocked or dropped on the ground, it will cushion. And shock resistance; At the same time, because the air's thermal conductivity is very small and it is closed in the foam to prevent convection, EPS is a material with excellent thermal insulation properties
Expanded Polystyrene, also known as Expandable Polystyrene (EPS), has a small relative
density (1.05g / cm3), low thermal conductivity, low water absorption, shock resistance,
heat insulation, sound insulation, Moisture-proof, vibration-damping, excellent dielectric
properties and other advantages, widely used in machinery and equipment, instruments,
household electrical appliances, crafts and other shock-resistant packaging materials that
are easy to damage valuable products and fast food packaging.

Extinguish Fire Source
1. Smoking and carrying matches and lighters are strictly prohibited in all operating areas
(receiving, processing, production, storage, warehouse and transportation areas).
2. Keep the equipment in good working condition to avoid electrical, friction, or static sparks,
which may form a source of ignition. Good grounding of all handling / processing equipment,
including transmission lines, storage silos, valves and grinders is critical.
3. Handle EPS resin, pre-foamed resin or molded foam products carefully, as static discharge
from any part of the body (including skin and clothing) may cause fire. Follow proper
grounding procedures-such as discharging static electricity from the human body before
exposure to potentially explosive gases, wearing an antistatic wrist strap connected to the
ground, and using conductive shoes and flooring materials.
